December on the Klamath River

Before Thanksgiving, we asked our good neighbor Jason to get us some mistletoe for our niece Shanna's girl scouts to sell at their December Christmas Fair. Here they are cutting the beautiful Oak tree fungus.

December has arrived and our early morning temps are 19 to 20 degrees, warming to 40 during the sun's high, which doesn't last long in this canyon.

However the evening are beautiful as we stroll the River Highway to enjoy the Christmas lights.

These are Frank Cardoza's. He really lights up our lives.

When we got up this morning we looked at our weather guage and it said we had received over 5 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. Hard to show sympathy with your cool temps. *wink* As of now, the last 36 hours, we've had 7 inches. Looks like it's letting up now.

Lovely photo's.
