We're back in Ketchikan - as of July 1

We'll be here thru July 4.

We had a minus 4.1 foot tide this at 7:30 this morning. I pulled myself up the ramp to get this photo.

Great beach combing condition..... Neil and Nancy. Come on up!

Background - one of the 4 cruise ships visiting today bringing 8,450 passengers to town. Doesn't it look like she's bulldozing over all the boats in the harbor?

This one's for you Jennie. Santa Anna Inlet, Zimovia Strait (after we left Wrangell)
June 28.

This one's for you Stanley. A float plane (one of many) zooming over us as we were heading into Ketchikan July 1.

This one's for my family... and all those who insist on buying american. I bought the last box of Chamomile tea on the shelf at IGA. I was very excited when I got back to the boat to discover the box labeled "Eden Foods, Tecumseh Michigan".... my old stomping grounds. Well, reading further on, how do they fit in anyway.... Egypt??, Canada??? Pretty funny.... What is to become of us and our food supply?...

Happy Fourth of July to all.

Parade tomorrow, BBQ at the club, fireworks, and then we go Beach Asparagus collecting with Lonnie and Marvin to Carroll Inlet, Gnat Cove. We'll let you know how that goes.

Still many boat errands before our next outing.

I will blog again after the Misty Fjords. Just popped on this website. We'll be in our own boat, but it looks really beautiful, wouldn't you say?
